What platform will the conference be using?
The conference will be held via Zoom Webinar and information on how to join will be sent out on Tuesday, August 11, 2 weeks prior to the conference. The information will be sent to every registered participant via the email address used on their registration.
Will you be recording the sessions?
While participation in the live webinar is preferred, we understand that your schedule may not allow for that. Most sessions will be recorded (pending presenter permission) and made available to participants for up to a week after the conference. We will note on the conference schedule which sessions will or will not be recorded.
Will I be able to participate or ask questions during the sessions?
Yes! We want to replicate our in-person conference as much as possible and especially value participation from attendees. We will have all attendees muted during the sessions and participants will be encouraged to ask questions in the chatbox during the session. More information on how to participate will be included when you receive the webinar link.
Will there be a keynote speaker?
Because we will be virtual this year we decided to forgo having a keynote speaker and instead offer 9 sessions over a 3-day period. We are excited to have Kevin Hines as the keynote speaker in 2021!
Will you be offering CEUs?
Due to the online nature of this year’s event, we will not be offering CEUs for the 2020 conference. Hawkeye on Safety has historically provided General CEUs and will plan to resume the offering for the 2021 conference.
Will Hawkeye on Safety Return to an In-Person Conference?
Definitely! We look forward to hosting the Hawkeye on Safety Conference at the Coralville Marriott again in 2021! Save the date for September 30, 2021.
